With a distinguished music career that spans more than five decades, XXXX XXXXXXXX has returned to his longtime label home Capitol Records recording 10 new tracks for "xxxx xxxx xxxxxxxx". Its a cover album, with him making several artists songs his own, such as Green Day, Foo Fighters, U2, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Velvet Underground, the Replacements, and more. It is a country album by definition, but in a way very few artists can, with this album he penetrates genre barriers and has made, IMO, the best country-related album since Johnny Cashs American IV.
