CROATIA: Elections must be cancelled 14%, more than 500’000, phantom voters

A) Is there another country in Europe where the number of voters exceeds by 14% the official number of citizens above 18 years of age having the right to vote. See the National Statistics Office-NSO. According to the statistics of the NSO, citizens above 18 years are allowed to vote were 3’569.300. In attachment A, find the statistics and the number of citizen having right to vote at mid 2005. For more details see the link www.dzs.hr Page 21 of the NSO. The NSO statistics are published only every 2nd year. The population numbers are steady. Young people are leaving Croatia to try to make their living abroad. This national tragedy has lasted for more than 65 years. So the NSO numbers for 2005 can be applied to the 25th Nov. 2007, the day of the election.

According to the government official figures, the number of voters was considerably higher 4’073’294, more than 14%, see link or this. From the total number of 4’478’386 should the number of Croats in Diaspora 405’092 be deduced and it follows the same number of 4’073’294

B) Whoever has these 14%+ votes (app. 504’100 votes) can choose the government, block a referendum, rule the country. These anomalies were observed in 2005. The complaints were never answered.

Pls. find several articles on this mess

This time we should go further, pls. find link:

The complaint of several associations to the CC- Constitutional Court and SEC were rejected.
DIP-SEC State Election Council says being incompetent to judge and has not for obligation to verify the number of voters (the most important element.

In Croatia nobody has no obligation no responsibility it is an ANARCHY

C) The worst of all the judges are those of the CC. There has been no improvement since Tudjman time; whoever elected 13 judges of the CC. 10 of them had no juridical praxis- they got 3 months training at a court. V. Vukojević was a bar tenant in Austria. V.Vukojović is accused of the rape of young women in Bosnian camps and the organisation of the destruction of the old historic bridge in Mostar. In Croatia the judges of the CC are above parliament and the elected President. Nobody can remove them. The judges of the Supreme Court are not much better. Most of the low instance judges in city tribunals have the necessary moral qualities but they do not progress. They are not obedient enough.

D) The same complaint concerning the election irregularities was sent to the President of Croatia Mr. S. Mesic, also to the DIP (the State Election Commission.). We had contact and discussions with NSO, they said their statistics are correct. Observing their statistics for 2003, 2001, we concluded they are correct.

So the election in Croatia of Sunday 25th November were manipulated and should be cancelled

E) However, the cheating started much earlier and had many different aspects. President F. Tudjman, in order to reinforce his dominance in Croatia, gave the nationality and the right to vote to 600’000 Croatian-speaking citizens, of neighbouring Herzegovina. That is a unique case in history. These neighbours are not born in Croatia. They do not live and never have lived in Croatia, neither their ancestors. By far, most of the Croatian tycoons are originally from this region and they will always vote for Tudjman’s party, the HDZ. Since they are ‘very intelligent’, many of them vote 2-3 times. Even many dead inhabitants of Herzegovina were voting – see the reports from the last Presidential elections. Tudjman, in order to complete his dictatorship, nominated 12 representatives of the numerous Croatians living abroad (Australia, Canada, Germany…), but all 12 were from his HDZ party (HDZ had only 43-45% of votes) and 7 of the 12 were from Herzegovina. Croatia obtained her independence in blood and pain in January 1992, but not for long time. The destiny of Croatia today is decided in Herzegovina, not in Belgrade, Vienna or Budapest.

F) The greatest disappointment is Premier I. Sander himself. He spent 14-15 years in Austria in a ‘state of law’ so we were all supporting him believing he would improve the situation in Croatia. The first thing he did after he was elected at the end of 2003, was to nominate M. Žužul as FA Minister and his closest collaborator. M. Žužul is a champion of corruption. During his appointment as Ambassador of Croatia to the US in Washington, he was also the consultant of Bechtel, large US Civil engineering company. He ‘advised’ Bechtel how to get large contracts (Freeways) in Croatia without bidding. There were among many other big ‘deals’ made by these two. Remember that BARR Pharmaceutical bought PLIVA a Croatian pharmaceutical company, for 2.3 billion $. In hard fight for Pliva among BARR and competitors, the decision (in Verona , Italy) was made by these two. Why? Pliva is a stockholding company with a Board of directors and its President, nothing to do with the Croatian government. How high was the baksheesh? If only 1 % it would be 23 million $ for each. Not bad for a trip to Verona. This kind of abuse of power is normal in the Balkan. Sanader keeps saying theatrically ‘nobody loves Croatia more than I’. Why he is not improving disasters mentioned under A-to I.

Before the negotiations started between EC and Croatia end 2005, M. Zuzul had to go. EC could not negotiate with a crook. M. Zuzul has left but Sander did not learn anything.

G) The dark clouds above Croatia are getting darker.

The external debts by the end of 2007 (increasing by more than11 billion $) will pass 48 billion $ (++ internal and personal debts are increasing even faster). Next 2008 year, this might reach 60 Billion $ and pass 94% of PIB, much more than Argentina at time of its collapse (140 billions $ for 40 millions people).

Will Croatia soon be unable to pay the interest on debts? Croatia before had agriculture and used to export these goods to Italy, Austria, and Germany. Today Croatia imports for more than 2.5 billion $ agriculture and food

products. How is that possible, the extremely fertile Slavonia can feed 40’000’000 people? The food is very expensive in Croatia: milk, yoghurt, ordinary wine cost more than in W. Europe having 4-5 higher incomes.

H) Croatia also had industry: Ex-Yugoslavia was the 3rd largest ship producer according to BRT in the world (all the shipyards are in Croatia) before the reunification of Germany. Where are we today?? The companies: NT, RIZ, Prvomajska, RK-Rade Koncar with 33’000 employees in collaboration with Hidrogradnja, Litostroj, Dalekovod represented a group of 70-80’000 specialists, who were successfully competing with the largest world concerns Siemens, ABB, Alstom, on all continents. Today RK has 1500 employees. The devastation of national goods started with Serbian aggression but the largest devastation was done by Croats themselves.

I) Diaspora: Ireland and Croatia

20 years ago Croatia was 3 times richer than Ireland. Today, Ireland is 3 times richer. The essential difference, Ireland is a ‘state of law’ with honest and not- corrupted government and member of Parliament Numerous Croats helped at the beginning the young state of Croatia (with abt. 28 billion $). For Croats living in W. European ‘states of law’ it is impossible to live and start any activity in Croatian juridical swamp (crocodiles , snakes included). The confidence is destroyed for 2 generations. Concerning the juridical protection World Bank-DB for 2007 put Croatia on 156th on the bottom, only a few central African countries are behind. At the beginning of the new state some of exiled Croats stared some activities in Croatia. Most lost every thing and returned to the country where from they came. To start an activity in Croatia is nightmare – juridical slump is not improving . We showed in our last report of Nov. 2007- Quo vadis Croatia? That Croatia is ruled by a parallel power around NJC (National Juridical Council) more powerful than the elected Premier and President. The Minister of Justice has just to sign. Croatian will accept the EU norms and standards but not applied. Without firing of a few hundred worst judges a progress in the Croatian judiciary is not possible.

Sincerely I. Šarić, PhD- HEA, Germany

Require via Email some other reports: 1) Who is ruling Croatia, the elected Prime Minster or ? ?? .2) Croatia: a perfect collaboration of political and juridical power in robbery ; 3) Croatia: How to defeat the corruption? Where are 28 Billions $ of Diaspora 4) Bank of Villach (one of hottest subject in Croatia), who took money?
