Thanks very much for posting this. I saw Tom Waits play in Toronto at around this time and it was one of the most memorable concerts of my life. Three decades later, two songs (neither of which I have found on his officially released albums) in particular still stick in my mind: At one point, Waits read articles from the day's newspaper aloud while his band provided musical accompaniment. The other song was "Trash Day", in which the drummer whacked away at a garbage can hanging behind his kit every time the title came up - you can hear that on this recording as well.
